Friday, February 17, 2023: Quilting Grannies from Vancouver Island groups got together in Nanaimo to help create a large wallhanging. The Grandmothers Campaign quilt has travelled from Regina, Kelowna to Vancouver; then to Nanaimo and next will be travelling to Calgary.

Our job was to appliqué 3 seedlings beside the tree
Here are the 3 seedlings
Grannies cutting out leaves; others pinning; Nanaimo grannies will sew them down
This is the wall hanging that we received, ready for the seedlings. Calgary will appliqué leaves on the branches to make an umbrella of leaves over the African Grandmothez
