Today’s sale at Spirit Square was $235 + $7 owing by a Cathy, she will give the money to Lois by our meeting.
So $257 in sales – $15 table rental = $242 profit. This summers profit at Spirit Square is $921.75.

2024 – Afternoon Spring Tea at AV United Church, Wednesday May 8
20th Anniversary of the Grandmothers’ to Grandmothers Commemorative Quilt was shown at this event. Erica Schubart talked about how it was made, put together and pieces donated by both Canadian and African Grandmothers.








Thursday, December 28, 2023: Janet, Dorothy, and I along with Sonja Drinkwater met the winner of the quilt – Marilyn Lorenzo – at Echo Centre. Marilyn was so happy to be the winner. Sonja will put a picture/write-up in AV News.

Monday, December 18, 2023: Our Christmas Social at Janet’s place. We picked the winner of the quilt. No answer when called…. Thanks to all who support PA Grannies. Merry Christmas to all!!





Saturday, November 25: Last Christmas Craft Fair for 2023. It was another successful event, raising over $400.00 and our total for donations for the hand quilted/bird in cross-stitched designed must be over $500.00 in total! Draw will be made in December, 2023. A big thanks to our community for so generously supporting the Stephen Lewis Foundation / Grandmothers’ to Grandmothers’ Campaign. A hiatus for craft fairs now until our spring luncheon.
Saturday, November 18: Craft Fair at Cherry Creek Hall, selling tins of shortbread, beautiful Christmas cards, crafts, and quilt by donation! Thanks to all who helped out, baked cookies, etc.
